If, post-Moore, federal courts have to afford the same level of deference to state-court rulings interpreting state constitutions whether federal or state elections are involved, federal court oversight should be very limited and infrequent indeed.And in this way the Wisconsin Supreme Court case does provide some useful information on federal court review of state courts in the wake of Moore.
