Given that both Public Health and the Washington State Department of Health pinpointed Guacamole Spread as the common exposure, purchased from the same location and that no other STEC case matched the three confirmed cases in this cluster, Public Health determined that it’s more likely a local outbreak connected to the PCC common location, likely from an ill worker.
