Seniors at Maiden High School in North Carolina will soon be eligible to receive the newly established Bobby Ray Hullett - Marler Clark Memorial Scholarship for the pursuit of higher education in science.The $2,500 scholarship fund, which will be awarded in $500 increments over five years, was donated in memory of Maiden, NC resident Bobby "Pete" Ray Hullett, who contracted a Salmonella infection and died after eating contaminated peanut butter crackers in 2008.
