It seems they’d rather spend stockholders money paying fines for selling drugs online (including to kids), tying up creators in endless litigation for which they can always outspend us because they raise money in the public markets for doing so, use their monopoly power to extend their dominance online around the world in ever more verticals, and use our music and movies as a honey pot for collecting data on our fans that they then repackage and sell to God knows who.
