This phenomenon undoubtedly exists at some schools, and it may complicate a particular school’s efforts to compare its current bar passage rates with those from an earlier era (when it didn’t accept as many transfers), but this modern increase in transfers can’t easily explain a national drop in MBE performance this year, since every student who transferred presumably would have taken the MBE whether s/he transferred or not.
