It is a good thing Stanford's Dean apologized to Judge Duncan; otherwise I suspect Duncan would have gone all James Ho and called for a boycott by judges of hiring Stanford students as law clerks (actually Ho said on Friday that he and Judge Branch would boycott Stanford students despite the apology from the Dean).
