That is a great pity--but the underlying racism in that projection uniformly onto a people suggests that the racism of others that enhanced the conditions for the present tragedy and made it inevitable was, given the subliminal collective psychology, excusable, even if it required that they sacrifice their own.That this may be the real theater performance is both frightening and dispiriting.
