 Less elite schools must go to great lengths to keep half of their class male, so far do female applicants and their qualifications outstrip those of males, while elite schools can keep it at 50/50 more easily because they have enough qualified males to chose from -- another story, but anyway not one really consistent with patriarchal oppression and conspiracy narratives, which if you are following me, are not really even intended, except among the simple minded, to be factual.
