The idea that the game would be held in the middle of the week is bizarre enough, but that the league's major network partner, NBC, refused to carry the game, or OLN had demanded the game as a part of its original contract and Commissioner Gary Bettman foolishly agreed (I'm not sure which is worse) speaks volumes.
