GOT TEN YEARS IN PRISONAccording to a press release issued by the United States Department of Justice, a Louisiana man was sentenced, on May 2, 2023, to ten years in prison, for purportedly purloining over $1.1 million in COVID related funds issued by the government.Apparently, the guy applied for over $7.6 million in government related assistance and was able to get his hands on $1.1 million.
