The Law Commission in England has released a report on anti-money laundering measures.It is estimated that between 0.7 and 1.28% of annual European Union GDP is connected to suspect financial activity.In 2017 the UK government asked the Law Commission to review limited aspects of the anti-money laundering regime in Part 7 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the counter-terrorism financing regime in Part 3 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
