The first notified in the Official Gazette, on 28th February, removes the bar on ex-Chairpersons and Members of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) from being appointed to any other position under the Government.[1] The only saving grace is that a cooling period of two years is stipulated for them before getting another appointment.
