The California stem cell agency is set this week to award $10 million to a Menlo Park firm to help finance a clinical trial for a therapy for colon cancer, which is the second leading cause of cancer death in this country.The cash will go to Forty Seven, Inc., an enterprise using an immune system, "eat me" technology developed at Stanford University by stem cell scientist Irv Weissman.
