The tax cuts I’m referring to should be seen as a relatively minor issue… allowing the top bracket to return to paying roughly 39% instead of 35%, as they did during the Clinton administration would hardly signal the end of the world as we know it… and there’s no question as to whether the rich, and by “rich” I do mean the top 1 percent… have disproportionately benefited from their largesse.
