I’m sure the AG’s office will exercise some discretion in some of these circumstances, but this seems like an excellent place for the AG’s office to provide some regulations. 1798.140(c)(2) defines business to include: Any entity that controls or is controlled by a business, as defined in paragraph (1), and that shares common branding with the business.
