   Understand that I'm not proposing or recommending that a suitable candidate would come from a firm utterly unlike yours in scale or practice scope, but if the Boeing --> Ford transition is plausible (Alan Mulally), or Hasbro --> eBay (Meg Whitman), why wouldn't a senior post at, say, one AmLaw 50 qualify one for a senior post at another?
