We reported earlier on the $920 million damage award in favor of DuPont against South Korea’s Kolon for stealing trade secrets relating to the fibers used to make Kevlar body armor.Now we learn from Bloomberg that the trial judge has not only upheld the verdict, but also imposed a 20-year injunction against Kolon to keep the company from producing any such fibers.Injunctions, including permanent injunctions, are generally available under trade secrets statutes.
