The Govt appears to have acknowledged this, because there are amends to s.13 L&T Act 1985 so that it applies for ‘Introductory Tenancies’ as per Part 5 Chapter 1 Housing Act 1996, which, by other parts of the H&P Bill will apparently be the name for all new fixed term tenancies at least so long as the council has elected to have introductory tenancies.
