The general rule in Florida is that parties deal with each other at arm’s length when settling disputes, so a settlement agreement can’t be invalidated simply because one side lies to the other (see here), or one side makes false representations during a mediation conference and those lies don’t get folded into the written agreement as rep’s and warranties (see here).
