I am obviously sympathetic to the project of changing our defective Constitution, and I agree with many (though not all) of his proposed amendments, but, as those you look at the review will see, I'm perplexed by a) why he thinks we need formal amendment rather than simply replacing several of the current conservative Republican justices with better judges who would be nominated and confirmed by Democratic presidents and senates (and isn't it easier to contemplate that happening… [read post]
